Colour-Changing Neon Signs: How Pixel LED Neon Works

colour changing neon sign

Can’t choose one colour? You don’t have to. A colour changing neon sign uses pixel LED neon, where every few centimetres of the tube can show its own colour. The result: one sign that can be pink today, blue tomorrow, or run a rainbow across the letters.

How it works

Ordinary LED neon has one colour along its whole length. Pixel (addressable) LED neon contains small LED chips that are controlled individually by a tiny controller. That is what makes chase, fade and pulse effects possible. At Neon Adda we call it Pixel flow.

What you can do with it

  • Pick any single colour from your phone.
  • Run effects such as rainbow chase, colour fade and pulse, with 200+ modes in the app.
  • Sync to music for parties and streams.
  • Set the brightness and speed, or turn it off on a schedule.

Where colour-changing signs shine

Gaming rooms and streaming setups, bars and lounges, kids’ rooms, event decor, and shops that change their look for festivals. If your space has different moods through the day, Pixel flow is worth it.

Price

Pixel LED neon costs more than single-colour neon because of the special strip and controller. In our studio, switch the light to Pixel flow and the price updates instantly, including the app and remote controller.
